Hurricane Home Repair Relief Trips
The United Methodist Men Disaster Response team continues to send work teams to areas damaged by hurricanes and other natural disasters. There is a tremendous amount of work to repair homes that have been damaged.
Work teams travel to Eastern North Carolina to do God’s work. These trips trips or are a lot of fun and you really will accomplish a great deal toward helping our neighbors to get back in their homes. The team is open to men, women and older youth. Habitat for Humanity
The United Methodist Men Habitat team works with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County to build homes for those in need in our community. Contact the UMM Habitat Chair Mike Bailey (ragtopdude@outlook.com) for more information and to sign up to participate in this mission.
Hearts & Hammers
Hearts & Hammers is a mission of the United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church Cary. The goal of this ministry is simple – to use our time and talents to meet the needs of those around us in order to share the love of Jesus. Household repair and maintenance work will be provided for those who are in need. For more information or to sign up to be a volunteer, click here.
Spiritual Growth – Mission Projects
Spiritual Growth:
Men are invited to become a part of a men’s small group for mutual care and spiritual growth. These groups meet to share the Love of God and support each other in a covenant relationship. Contact the leader for more information about the covenant group.

Monthly Meetings
UMM gathers on the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast and a program.
The monthly business meeting are the Thursday before the second Saturday of the month. Meetings are 6:00 p.m. We meet in Building C, Room C100. These meetings provide an opportunity to learn more about the activities of the UMM and for you to provide input to the leadership of the UMM.
