Mission and Vision: We provide a safe, nurturing, and enriched Christian environment for children to imagine, learn, and grow! Through developmentally engaging activities and experiences, children will grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. We nurture each child’s individuality and creativity, while supporting their unique growth with empathy and grace. We hope your children will explore and discover with us through our creative Christian-based curriculum.

Learning Objectives: We are dedicated to fostering a space for children where they will build positive relationships, explore the world around them, learn to problem solve, and grow as lifelong learners! Using a developmental and play-based learning approach, we help children gain confidence, creativity, and a love of learning as they engage in active exploration of their environment. For learning objectives for each age group, click below:
Daily Rhythms: A typical day at MCC begins with classroom exploration, free play centers, creative time, and circle time. Our curriculum is play-based, developmental, and follows weekly or monthly themes. Circle Time may include songs, counting, a read-aloud, and/or discussion of the weekly theme or letter. After snack, our 2 and 3 year classes will have outdoor play on one of our playgrounds. Our younger classes end the day with a small motor skill activity and a closing Circle Time. Our 4 year old class has an additional 45 minutes in their schedule for activity time focusing on independent project work and learning. Our 4 year old class also eats lunch at school after their outdoor time. In addition to our regular classroom activities, the children engage in Music and Movement class, bi-monthly visits to the school library, and monthly chapel.
We believe children at this age learn so much from playing and interacting, so our teachers use play as a guide for learning and growth. We encourage independence in self-care, use of words and communication with classmates and teachers, and safety, kindness, and cooperation for our students.
Seasonal Celebrations: Each year, we look forward to many opportunities for your children and families to engage in cherished traditions. From Orientation, Popsicles on the Playground, Harvest Gathering and Parade, Thankful Feast, Donuts with Dads and Dear Ones, Mother’s Day Tea, Field Trips to Local Businesses, Year End Celebrations, and so much more. These will be memories that last a lifetime for both your child(ren) and family!
