Updated Project Timeline as of 3/31/08

  1. The District considers and approves our motion on April 23, 2008.
  2. The Congregation considers and approves the project no earlier than 10 days after District approval.
  3. The Building Committee starts the final budget process now and solicits bids. They consider those bids before we give final approval in late April/early May.
  4. The Building Committee, in consultation with the Finance Committee, starts the process to secure Bank Financing as described in early May.
  5. The Finance Committee with other key committees begins a search for kick-off gifts in early April.
  6. If all conditions and approvals are met, the Building Committee will secure contracts in early May and give notice to proceed.
  7. Construction will start in June in conjunction with the Town of Cary Project.
  8. Various committees within the Church will be formed to deal with the various aspects of the parking project (things like visitors centers, greeters, use of the facility, etc.)
  9. We will start the fund raising projects in May immediately after Congregation approval of the Plan. Funds will be applied to the outstanding loan balance as collected.
