IMAGINE Big Event Children's Program
To register your child for the event, click here.A fun-filled children's program is in store for our nursery through 5th graders during the Big Event. All children's events will be held at the church.
The childcare for nursery through 5th graders will be provided in the Templeton Building at FUMCC from 4:30-7:30 during the Big Event on May 20.
The nursery will consist of infants-2yr olds. They will be located down on the Ground floor as usual. We will have a nursery staff of at least 10 caregivers. Nursery children should be fed before they arrive. (If parents of infants provide jar food and bottles, the caregivers can feed the children). For older babies and toddlers, we will provide snacks similar to what are provided during Sunday School.
Preschoolers (3 yr old- Kindergarten) will be located in classrooms on the 1st floor. We will be providing dinner for preschoolers. We have several activities planned for the preschoolers. They will have free play time in the classroom, a puppet show performed by our puppet team in the sanctuary, some playground time (If raining, a Veggie Tale video), and then, they will get to see the last 30 minutes of an Animal show in the fellowship hall.
The Elementary aged kids (1-5th grade) will also start out in classrooms on the 1st floor. We will provide dinner for them as well. They will also have seen a performance by the puppet team in the sanctuary. Then they will see a really great 1 1/2 hour long "Creatures of Creation" wild animal show in the fellowship hall. Dan the Wild Animal Man will have several of his wild animals on hand and will show the kids how God made each of these animals special to survive in this world. You can see a promotional video of the program at www.creaturesofcreation.org
Communications between the church and the fairgrounds will be provided if we need to get in touch with a parent during the program.
