Sunday, March 16: Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday Services: Adult Choirs will present “Once upon a Tree” during traditional services. Special music in Celebration!
Wednesday, March 19
Foot Washing (Noon): This service is a reflection of Jesus’ example of washing his disciples’ feet as a sign of humility and giving. There also will be an option that includes hand washing.
Thursday, March 20: Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday Service (7 p.m.): This service commemorates the beginning of Holy Communion at the Last Supper, the agony of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane and the betrayal of Christ by Judas.
Friday, March 21: Good Friday
Stations of the Cross (5:30 p.m.): FUMCC Youth will present this impactful journey of Christ’s suffering and death.
Prayer Vigil (8 p.m.)
This FUMCC tradition will take place after the Stations of the Cross and continue until the Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday. Sign-up sheets and Prayer Vigil Request forms are available in the narthex.
Sunday, March 23: Easter Sunday
Sunrise Service (6:30 a.m.) – The service welcomes Easter and is followed by breakfast by the UMMen.
Sunday Worship: All services will rejoice at the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.
