Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is open to all mothers-to-be and mothers of children that are newborn to age-5. MOPS is a great way to meet other mothers and discuss the challenges and triumphs faced each day as a mom. MOPS is open to members and non-members of FUMCC. Mothers socialize for the first half-hour, then enjoy a program that may include a speaker or video, a craft and discussion time. Children attend their own program (MOPPETS) and are cared for by thoughtfully hired caregivers.

Mothers of Elementary Aged Children (MOMSNext)

MOMSNext is the elementary aged extension of MOPS and is also chartered by and supported by MOPS International. MOMSNext is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age children and youth to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope. All moms of school aged kids are welcome! MOMSnext meets the second Thursday of each month (October - May) at 9:30am in Room 200; please register to attend so childcare and seating can be planned appropriately. Scholarships are available.
