Baskets of HopeBaskets of Hope Wake County CPS & Family Services: 665 Each basket included an abundance of fun treats for each child. Baskets were filled with loving gifts from individuals. In addition, the following people and organizations provided generous donations for each basket:
Here are ideas for things to put in the baskets: Books for all ages – Christian topics (i.e. Easter, God, Jesus) would be great. Lifeway and the Family Christian Bookstore, both at Crossroads, usually have some great little books or activity books for Easter. Anything that would be fun for kids of all ages (Newborn to 18) **Balls of all kinds Stuffed Bunnies/Animals Candy Jelly Beans Skittles Toothbrushes/toothpaste Coloring Books Crayons Bubbles Sidewalk Chalk Pencils Pez Dispensers Small Children’s Toys Dolls Barbie Dolls Playdough Cars/Trucks Fun Stickers Lotions, etc. for teens Nail Polish for girls/teens Hair Bows Yo-Yos Easter Basket Grass Games Handheld Games Pens Markers Gift Cards Free Meal Cards Coupons Movie Passes Gum Hairbrushes CDs Arts & Craft Supplies Soccer Balls **Footballs **Basketballs **Soccer Balls **Tennis Balls Most importantly, every child received a Bible.
