FUMC Technical Ministry
The Technical Ministry is a church-wide support ministry. Its primary goal is to support and enhance the other ministries and programs at FUMC-Cary. The A/V technical needs at our church are growing rapidly.

The Technical Ministry will address these growing needs in the following manner:
1. Organization and development of volunteers.
- Create well defined job functions for volunteers that match skills and/or desired involvement level with job function.
- Provide training for each job function and skill level - provide for crosstraining and skill development.
- Create a comprehensive recruitment plan. Get people excited about the use of technology in ministry!
- Create an organization structure that provides for clear and efficient communications flow.
- Create standards and best practices for each job function category.
- Provide a clear and well-understood means for persons to request technical services. Make clear the timeframes and information required.
- Provide for a robust resource scheduling and communications system to manage technical ministry resources (people and equipment) with needs.
- Provide the proper equipment to support the rapidly growing technical needs of our church.
