Feel the Power!

We’ve got the solution to summertime boredom…send your kids to Power Lab where they’ll discover Jesus’ miraculous power!  This year’s Vacation Bible School is unlike anything you’ve ever seen!  Each day the children will take part in fun Bible learning they can see, hear, touch, and even taste!  Bible Point crafts, team-building games, lively Bible songs, science experiments, and tasty treats are just a few of the Power Lab activities that help faith flow into real life.  This is an experience not to be missed!

Volunteering
In order to make Power Lab a success, we need the help of lots of adults and youth.  There are three main ways that you can help:

  1. Sign up to be a Lab Crew Leader.  As a Lab Crew Leader, you will visit the different stations with a small group of kids.  You are not in charge of preparing or teaching the activities; you just get to be there and help kids enjoy themselves as you shepherd the members of your Lab Crew.  We need both preschool and elementary Lab Crew Leaders.
  2. Sign up to be a Station Leader.  As a Station Leader, you will teach and show Jesus’ love to the kids who attend Power Lab.  You will be provided with a teaching manual that gives you explicit directions on what to teach and provides helpful hints.  (Please visit the website below for descriptions of the different stations located under the Volunteer Opportunities section.)
  3. Join the Decorations/Prep Work team.  As a member of this team, you will help transform the Fellowship Hall and classrooms into a fun-filled science lab.
