Mission Opportunities for Children
Coats for Kids
Each year WRAL sponsors this program. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to clean out their closets and donate coats for others to use during the winter. Children are asked to bring their used or new coats to the church during the month of December. The coats are taken to the Salvation Army for distribution. New Underwear, tee shirts and socks for children are also accepted. Contact April DeCatsye.
Heifer Project
This annual event in the spring provides funding to purchase farm animals for families in third world countries. The animals provide the family with a basis to increase their income by increasing the number of animals. The project is sponsored by the Children’s Ministry with fundraising activities.
