Missions Toolkit Streamlines Process for Missions
Recently the Council on Ministries put into place a process to coordinate the way we initiate new missions as well as promote and do fundraising for new and existing missions. The purpose of the Missions Toolkit is to help mission groups navigate the way in 1) gaining church-wide publicity for their mission (through Missions Moments during worship, through a Missions Highlight in the Messenger, bulletin or on the FUMC website) 2) raising funds for the mission 3) reserving facilities for fundraising and other purposes 4) planning and budgeting for the mission.
If your group has an idea for a mission or if your group would like to promote or do fundraising on the FUMC campus on a Sunday, complete the Toolkit form and return it to Rev. Alice Kunka. Depending on the request, the Missions Committee, Finance committee or FUMC administrative staff will be in touch with you to coordinate efforts.
